Our Mission:

Founded and dedicated to the art of ballet and 

contemporary dance, California Contemporary Ballet provides the most inspired theatrical experience for our dancers, community and Southern California. We seek to nurture and encourage our dancers professionally and to develop our artists and audiences in the creativity, imagination and joy of dance.

A Career with CCBallet:

Initiated by Artistic Director Erin Holt , whose choreography and vision create a unique brand of classical and contemporary dance works, California Contemporary Ballet (CCBallet), provide its career members the opportunity to perform an exciting repertory of original dance projects. CCBallet performs in concerts, theatre and festivals throughout Southern California and have been featured artists performing in Europe.  CCBallet is the resident company at California DanceArts, located in the foothills of Los Angeles. California Contemporary Ballet provides a magical experience for its audiences with innovative, original productions. In 1999, the company incorporated as a California non-profit organization and estab-lished itself as one of Southern California's burgeoning dance companies. The group's signature ballet, performed each December, is "The Snow Queen", featuring the company's astounding talented dancers and showcasing the innovative choreography of Erin Holt, performed to the beautiful original musical score composed by Randall-Michael Tobin.  The production is embellished by beautiful handmade costumes, set and lighting design. Snow Queen casts feature our remark-able youth company 

members along side our career professional company dancers and guest artists. Peformed at Glendale Community College, the entire company delivers a passionate, moving experience for their audiences. For more information go to
